The 2020 Rosé presents beautiful summery aromas of raspberry, lime and orange zest. This wine dazzles the palate with quenching flavors of watermelon, strawberry and juicy citrus. The mouthfeel is accentuated by a sense of crisp minerality, while zesty acidity carries a clean, refreshing finish.
The 2020 growing season was marked by a mild spring and summer, punctuated by two late-summer heat waves that accelerated the pace of ripening into harvest. We picked the Pinot Noir fruit at early ripeness on September 4 to establish bright vibrancy in the wine. This fruit was wholly dedicated for rosé production to ensure a pure, refreshing style.
After whole-cluster pressing, the juice was cold fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve its delicate aromatics and crisp texture. After fermenting to full dryness, the wine was cold-aged in stainless steel for seven months prior to bottling.
